Chapter Mission:

Treasurer and Finance

The finance committee is charged with developing a strong financial infrastructure to allow the Chapter to carry out its mission and comply with all financial reporting requirements.
Communications
Chair - Kris Duran
The Communications Committee strives to provide comprehensive resources of information relating to the U.S. Green Building Council and LEED program that are easily accessible to Board Members, the General Membership, and various Media Outlets.
Leadership Development Committee
Seeking future leaders from within, the Leadership Development committee focuses on matching our members strengths to the needs of the USGBC Middle Tennessee Chapter for the continued success of our chapter.
Resource Development Committee
Chair - Laura Schroeder
The Resource Development Committee works to improve the quality of Chapter initiatives, support the Chapter, and promote the Chapter's mission by encouraging financial support from stakeholders within the sustainable design/construction industry and by collaborating with the Programs Committee to plan fund raising events. As a benefit to Sponsors, each receives recognition of their support as well as opportunities to communicate the benefits of their services or products to the Chapter membership.

Public Policy & Advocacy
Chair - Gina Emmanual
The goal of the Public Policy Committee includes leveraging the resources and influence of the U.S. Green Building Council National Organization, the local U.S. Green Building Council Chapter, and allied organizations to educate state and local government agencies to adopt sustainable building principles, policies, and programs with a significant representation of LEED certified building projects.
Emerging Green Builders

The Emerging Green Builders Committee aims to integrate students and young professionals into the green building movement.
Education/Programs Committee
Chair - Brian Phelps
The Education/Programs Committee schedules and staffs workshops and training events for the chapter. In addition, the committee works to grow and support membership through networking and information exchange opportunities and access to emerging technologies and concepts.
